The solo Filipina act recently opened for Coldplay’s Philippine Arena concert last January. She is behind the viral, chart-topping R&B hit “lutang,” and singles “Hinahanap-Hanap,” “Lito,” and “Halimaw.”

Having been in the underground rap industry for two decades, Apoc solidified his position as one of the most iconic overall emcees yet. From starting in rap group Heavenly Host and briefly working with indie label AMPON, Apoc began making his own name with Kampo Teroritmo, a collective with Batas. 

The rapper-songwriter and producer known for his aggressive delivery and punchlines joined Uprising in 2016. Apoc’s debut LP Loob ng Kabaong was released in 2017, followed by his second full-length second album Kampilan that came out last November.

SB19’s rapper and vocalist just released his latest electro-pop, bass-heavy song “Get Right” in December, a solo comeback single that leans towards pop and electronic dance music (EDM), with influences of hip-hop and hyper-pop. Josh collaborated with Ocho the Bullet and No Rome for the self-written and self-produced upbeat track, which “explores music for the sheer joy of reinvention and fun, while tapping into a new sonic space that fits Josh’s personal style and brand.”

Josh calls it a “declaration of his return,” with the lyrics reflecting his “resilience, self-assurance, and the realization of how the industry operates.”

“It’s about asserting my presence, owning my space, and creating music that resonates with who I am as an artist.”

Pingkian: Isang Musikal – written by Juan Ekis, directed by Jenny Jamora, and composed by Ejay Yatco – is a full-length historical musical about the ups and downs of Emilio Jacinto’s life as a leader, showing the complicated path to freedom as the Philippine revolution ends and the Philippine-American war begins.

Among the cast members performing on Live Jam are Vic Robinson, who stars as Emilio Jacinto (Pingkian); Gab Pangilinan who plays his wife Catalina de Jesus; Bituin Escalante who plays Josefa Dizon; Kakki Teodoro who plays Jose Rizal; and Paw Castillo who plays Andres Bonifacio.

The cast will be performing the songs “Nasa Loob ang Himagsikan,” “Sapat Ba Ang Mga Salita,” “Ang Ating Ipinaglalaban,” and “Ikaw Ang Liwanag.”
